Sheeryn Holmberg
Born in Singapore, 1999
Sheeryn is currently pursuing her Fine Arts diploma in LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore, majoring in drawing. She is a multidisciplinary artist with a firm background in drawing and watercolour. Sheeryn specialises in watercolour and calligraphy art.
Her paintings mainly involve her love for modern calligraphy and nature which has led her to pursue this journey in art and bespoke design.
She wishes to share cherished moments of joy and happiness through the beauty of her art.
Artist Statement
Sheeryn’s inspiration stems from her childhood fascination of Disney and Dreamworks animated movies, nature and beautiful landforms which helped shaped her illustrations, thus using watercolour as an expressive form to show the delicate elements of her art subjects, blending beautiful pastel hues with sharp fine strokes.
On the side, she is a part-time educator teaching art (drawing, painting) to children aged between 4 and 12 years old. To date, she has facilitated several art workshops such as Singapore Art Week and Affordable Art Fair.
